There is no doubt that the incredible theme parks located in the city of Orlando, Florida are the most popular tourist attractions found there. However, this by no way indicates that is all there is to do in this beautiful city, though really, do you need to ask for more? Well, the theme parks are the main vacation destination, however, something that the tourists discover once they settle into their rooms in a fine Orlando hotel is that the city is full of great entertainment options, diverse cultural attractions and of course some fabulous dining options.
In addition to the more obvious attractions such as the great dinner theatres and combination dining and entertainment options, there are some highly acclaimed performance organizations. The Orlando Ballet is one of the city’s well loved and highly supported companies and it presents a diverse and dynamic season every year. It has been in existence for about thirty five years and continues to grow and expand its offerings.
The company’s production of Giselle will star things off in October before the holiday season kicks in and the company’s production of The Nut Cracker opens in December. The new year will bring one of the company’s more cutting edge productions as they February unleashes Battle of the Sexes II. Carmen, appropriately will round out the regular season and performances of this great work will begin in April.
