It is pretty impressive when you think about it, but Jimmy Buffet’s album debuted this week at number seven. The CD is called Encores and it is a two disk CD with twenty two live renditions of some of his greatest hits. He personally chose which song he wanted on the CD and which ones he was ready to leave off, wanting the CD to tell a story in a convoluted way. While the songs may not always feel like they follow each other, they most certainly feel like they belong together. For him these songs are the ones that provide a happy ending to a musical meal.
